RACINE, Minn.- Clean water is a necessity, but not every country in the world has access to it. Well 14-year-old, Joanna Hansen of Racine is raising money to change that.
“I’ve always been interested in mission trips and going out and helping people,” said J. Hansen.
This summer she is going on a week-long mission trip this summer to Guatemala. While she teaches her siblings about Central America, she’s learning that the country isn’t known for having clean water. She wants to help change that by building a well in the Village of Altamira.
