Herbicide spraying represents a toxic threat

It's August and the Massachusetts Department of Agricultural Resources issued its pro-forma approval of Eversource's spraying of herbicides on the electrical easements. These transmission lines extend over 78 percent of the drinking water supply for Cape Cod and over private and public property, including homes and open space.

Previous power companies did not spray out of concern for our groundwater (our only viable source of drinking water) and for the Cape community. The newer mega utilities are unconcerned with the desires or health of their customers.
