Australia running out of WATER: Cities could face devastating drought, warns expert

South African officials are currently planning for ‘Day Zero’ – when they will be forced to turn off the water supplying Cape Town and instead give residents rationed amounts.

According to city projections the crisis scenario, which will be triggered then the six-dam reservoir system drops to 13.5 percent of its overall capacity, could be just eight weeks away.

Now experts have warned water-stressed Australian cities could be at risk if they face a similar drought to the South African region.
